Dunkertons Organic Cider

Dunkertons are award-winning English cider makers. They grow their fruit in Herefordshire and press, ferment and bottle it in Gloucestershire. Dunkertons select their fruit for the unique characteristics that give their drinks their delicate and special aromas. Some of their ciders are blended using up to 30 varieties. Others are single varietals to showcase the best of a particular cider apple. Dunkertons consistently win awards: from Hong Kong and Japan to the UK and US. They have been making ciders and perry since 1980.

Dunkertons only use the finest tasting traditional varieties of certified organic apples and pears. Dunkertons meet the recognised and trusted organic standards of the UK's Soil Association.

Dunkertons are also members of Happerly, an organisation committed to the verification of food provenance that allows for the tracking of produce to the farm of origin.

Dunkertons recently won two awards at the prestigious International Cider Challenge 2016 run by Off Licence News. Dunkertons Browns single variety was awarded a gold medal, and Black Fox blended cider a bronze medal.

The judging panel of nine comprised of buyers, award winning independent retailers, cider experts, journalists and cider makers awarded 19 gold medals, 44 silvers and 65 bronzes in total.

Dunkertons careful selection of fruit gives their drinks the delicate and aromatic characteristics required to be award winning.
